As a member of the Worldwide Kids team, you are the person who makes a child’s holiday unforgettable by delivering safe, exciting and unique experiences. Worldwide Kids run engaging and varied activity programmes which feature cognitive, creative and physical activities and make use of all the amazing facilities in the resort. Our childcare assistants have bags of energy and enthusiasm!

We are looking for passionate, flexible and committed people to work in our luxury resorts worldwide. Worldwide Kids childcare assistants will understand that safety is the top priority whilst being supportive and flexible team players. They will benefit from having worked with large groups of children.

We are looking for passionate people to work in a luxury resort for the summer. Working as a Crèche Assistant you will have a minimum of 2 years experience working with large groups of children from 4 months to 4 years, and have a proactive, positive and approachable manner. The candidate must also be a supportive and flexible team player and possess a “can do” attitude whilst ensuring that the children have a fun holiday in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

To maintain our health and safety standards alongside our policies and procedures
Ensure the smooth running of the childcare services at the resort
To assist and occasionally deputise for the creche supervisor
To proactively input exciting activities and ideas into the weekly programme
To decorate your designated area in a way that is both welcoming and stimulating to the children and their families
To attend daily briefings from the Worldwide Kids club supervisor and manager
To liaise directly with parents/carers of the children who are attending the clubs
To be a visible face of Worldwide Kids within the hotel or resort.
Mentoring international staff
To step in operationally when needed to cover for breaks, sickness and holidays
To lead a range of children’s activities
Be proactive and imaginative in ideas for special promotions
Inform childcare supervisor of any equipment and supplies shortages and make a request for additional stocks

Essential Requirements

Experience of working with large groups of children
Team player
Excellent interpersonal skills
NVQ Level 2/3 qualified or equivalent

Desirable

Knowledge of Greek, German, French or Russian would also be advantageous

CRECHE SUPERVISOR

As a Hotel Crèche Supervisor you will be working in a stunning, luxury resort as part of a large international team. The majority of the guests are from the United Kingdom, Greece, Germany, USA and France. You will provide a safe, fun, and stimulating programme of activities, both indoors and outdoors, to ensure the children and their families have a fantastic holiday. Activities can range from arts and crafts, to ice cream trips, to building sandcastles so you need to have plenty of energy and enthusiasm!

Responsibilities

To manage the day to day running of the crèche within the resort for children 4 months – 4 years
To assist and occasionally deputise for the WK Childcare Manager
To respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner
To be responsible for the safety and welfare of the children within your care
Manage the crèche team working alongside you
Create an action-packed timetable of activities and play ideas for the children within your specified age group
To decorate the setting in a way that is both welcoming and stimulating to the children and their parents
To liaise directly with parents of the children who will be attending the crèche both prior to their arrival and also at the hotel to ensure a smooth transition to the crèche
To assist with the training and development of locally recruited staff within the clubs
To ensure all on site health and safety policies, procedures and risk assessments are in place, operational and updated as necessary
To meet with the childcare manager and club supervisor on a regular basis to deploy staff where necessary for the business needs
To hold daily team meetings
To be the face of WK in resort
Be proactive and imaginative in ideas for special promotions
To update the WK Kids Management System on a daily basis, along with administration of the crèche through a good working knowledge of Word and Excel

Essential Requirements

Minimum CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in a childcare setting with children ages 4 months – 4 years
Endless enthusiasm and a professional and positive attitude towards providing a first class service
Be caring and passionate about working with children
Excellent guest relations and customer service skills
A good communicator who is adaptable, resourceful, patient and diplomatic
Team player
Good interpersonal skills
Fluent English

Desirable

Previous supervisor/ management experience highly desirable
